Brief description of the software: The Worldwide Wait is definitely over on the Web! LinkFox brings you the fastest web experience possible for your Internet connection. The first of the true second generation of web accelerator software, it allows you to efficiently choose what pages you want to visit next and conveniently preload them to your browser's cache, either Netscape 3/4 or IE 3/4/5, for instantaneous web surfing capability. Save the links for future sessions if you wish, and you can set LinkFox to automatically reload them when you start your browser! The ultimate in speed AND "netiquette", LinkFox doesn't waste bandwidth like other web accelerator programs. This intelligent program will load only the links you want to look at so they will load instantaneously in your web browser! LinkFox.... the way browsing was meant to be. Installation ------------ LinkFox is installed simply by executing the self-installing EXE file, LNKFOX99.EXE. You will be asked for the target directory, and then the installation program will copy all neccesary files there and create two Start Menu items for LinkFox and its help file. After that, it will execute LinkFox. You can access its menu by right-clicking on the LinkFox icon in the tray, or on the open window. Uninstallation -------------- LinkFox can be completely removed from your system. In order to do so, first be sure LinkFox is not running. Then open the Control Panel and run the "Add/Remove Programs" applet. Then, you can select LinkFox from the list of installed programs, and click on the "Add/Remove..." button. Please note that the uninstallation will be complete only after you reboot your system. Registration ------------ This is the shareware version of LinkFox 99 and is intended for evaluation purposes only. If you decide to keep it, you must register.
